New Feature: Highlighting Text

Students now have the ability to highlight questions and associated text as an aid while working on an assignment.

At the bottom of the Question page is a new Enable Highlighting checkbox. When checked, a floating “Highlight” toolbar is displayed. The students can use their mouse to select any text, then click one of the highlighting buttons to set the background color of the selected text. Three highlighting colors are available.

A white “X” button in the Highlight toolbar removes the highlighting.

Note: Highlighting will not work if the student’s “Text Selection” access rights are disabled.  Teachers can modify access rights on the Access Rights tab of the Classes page.
