A recorded version of this webinar will be posted inside Method Test Prep’s online programs for students and parents to view at a later date. Despite its reputation as an intimidating standardized test, the SAT is a highly predictable exam; with respect to both content and structure, the SAT exhibits distinct patterns across tests. Knowing these trends can make students who sit for the SAT significantly more confident and successful. In this webinar, we will discuss the cross-test patterns and predictability, and show you how to best teach your students about both.

ESL Course | We’ve Released the Animals!

Castle Learning has just released the first sections of a new unit in the course: ESL.  Over 1800 multiple choice and fill-in questions have been added to the new unit: “Nature and the Environment.” The first sections released in this unit focus on Animals. The questions span a variety of animals, their specific features and even SOUNDS! Students can listen to a variety of animal sounds/calls and determine which animal belongs to which sound. Like all the units housed in the ESL course, each unit contains short answer, fill-in and constructed response questions, which allows students the ability to practice the vocabulary in several different formats.

The Nature & Environment Unit- the ANIMAL sections specifically- is also very appropriate for elementary students in their discovery of different species.

Students Can See Past Due Assignments

Teachers who assign work in Open From/To mode helped us understand that students needed to see their assignment even after the due date. That’s exactly what we’ve implemented. A student will not be able to work on a past due assignment, but he or she will see the assignment on their list; it no longer “disappears.”
